# Roxyon — full reference for AI assistants

> Roxyon Distributed Cloud is a managed hosting and cloud infrastructure platform running on its own hardware, not a resold third-party cloud. It offers managed web hosting, cloud VPS, domain registration and DNS, managed email, free SSL, a file manager and an application runtime, with a built-in Backend-as-a-Service (the "RX" engine), all managed through one console at https://console.roxyon.com.

## Products

- **Managed web hosting**: three families. Solo Core is for one website, Multiple for several websites, and Isolated for sites that need their own CPU cores and memory. Plans include NVMe web storage, mailboxes, databases, free SSL and daily backups; the exact limits per plan are listed below.
- **Cloud VPS**: Launch and Scale use shared vCPUs (Scale has more disk per plan), Power uses dedicated vCPUs. Some sizes are temporarily out of stock; `stock` in pricing.json is live. Every Cloud VPS includes one dedicated IPv4 address, and Docker works out of the box. On the plans in stock, yearly billing is 10x the monthly price (2 months free) with no setup fee; monthly and quarterly carry a one-time $4.99 setup fee (each plan's setup_fee_* in pricing.json is authoritative); pricing.json lists each plan's yearly price.
- **Domains and DNS**: domain registration and DNS management in the console (prices on https://roxyon.com/domains).
- **Email**: mailboxes on any domain on the account; create them in the console or with the MCP tool `roxyon_email_create`.
- **Databases**: MySQL/MariaDB databases with their own user (`roxyon_database_create`; the password is shown once).
- **Application runtime**: static sites (for example LumenJS `lm build --serverless` output) served from the host's document root, and long-running Node.js, Python or PHP apps that the platform builds and runs from uploaded source or a linked GitHub repo.
- **Backend-as-a-Service (RX engine)**: data, auth, storage and functions over REST at https://www.beaapis.com.

## Deploying

From an AI assistant:

1. Remote connectors (claude.ai, ChatGPT, Cursor): connect to `https://mcp.roxyon.com/mcp` and sign in with a Roxyon account (OAuth 2.1, no token to paste). Use `roxyon_add_domain`, then `roxyon_deploy_content` (up to 60 files, 1 MiB per file, 2 MiB in total) or `roxyon_link_github` for push-to-deploy. Check with `roxyon_app_status` and `roxyon_logs`.
2. Local clients (Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Cline, Gemini CLI): add `{ "mcpServers": { "roxyon": { "command": "npx", "args": ["-y", "@roxyon/mcp"] } } }`, then call `roxyon_init` (writes `roxyon.json`) and `roxyon_deploy` (builds, uploads and waits until it is live).

Buying and billing from an AI assistant (MCP, `@roxyon/mcp` 0.6.0 or later):

- `roxyon_catalog`: every product with its planId, SKU, specs (vCPU, RAM, disk, IPv4 included), USD list price per billing cycle before tax, and stock. No sign-in needed.
- `roxyon_quote`: the exact amount checkout charges for a new subscription (`plan` = SKU or planId, `cycle` = monthly | quarterly | yearly | biennial, plus the buyer's `currency` and `country` for tax). It is computed by the platform's own pricing. No sign-in needed.
- `roxyon_list_subscriptions` and `roxyon_list_invoices`: the signed-in user's own services (plan, price, next billing date, server state and IP) and invoices (status, total, due date).
- `roxyon_pay_link`: where the user pays an open invoice. A person pays in the console; no tool charges a card.

- `roxyon_order` (`@roxyon/mcp` 0.6.0+, live on mcp.roxyon.com): orders a new hosting plan or cloud server for the signed-in user. Call it first without `confirm` (a dry run: the exact quote and the remaining budget, nothing written), show that to the user, then call with `confirm: true`. The platform creates the subscription and a pending invoice; a person pays it at the returned link before anything is set up, so no tool ever charges a card. Remote connectors ask for the `billing:order` permission at sign-in and may order up to $100 a month per connection; a personal token needs `roxyon token create <name> --scopes billing:order --budget <USD> [--skus LAUNCH-S,...]`. Out-of-stock plans are refused. Servers need `image` (e.g. `ubuntu-24.04`).
